Your garden looks lovely, Jane. Aren’t nasturtiums wonderful for continuing to fill the garden with colour – till we get a frost and they instantly wilt! Your painting really conveys the feeling of autumn in the garden, and I can almost smell the fallen leaves.

I knew someone wouldn’t be able to resist flowers. I also knew it wasn’t going to be me other wise my title would have been Borders, – Please Weed My Garden. This is a very nice painting and I think you have caught the balance of loose work (top right) and the more controlled (bottom middleish leftish) really well.

This reminds me of The Secret Garden, you want to go and see where the path leads. ( I’ll have to look up Amelanchier!)
