We have a visiting cat, it deigned to pose for a few minutes, but insisted on perching on the edge of everything. So that’s why the background has become the main subject and the poor cat is rather a ghost in the picture.

disguisedIts front ‘legs’ (?) are too thick in my painting, but this is a pretty good disguise if you are shy and live in a tree.

chaosI started this with watercolour pencils, and not on watercolour paper, so it hasn’t worked too well. It’s from memory of our millenium party, but I haven’t done justice to the absolute mess we made.

curiosityI tried to get a backlit feel but I think I need to darken the boy?

colourfulOur tree in a colourful mood.

fallSnowfall. I wanted to get the lamplight shining through the snowflakes, but it’s been difficult to get the surroundings dark enough. The stripey effect is due to buckled paper, not meant!
