The simplicity of bread and cheese for lunch. Recognise the cheese Dave? I should have taken some french bread too which would have saved me plodding out in the snow to buy the loaf
I was very taken by the simplicity of snow on the tree branches, when walking in Bushy Park on Monday.
Simplicity
Not sure if this fulfils the subject. Loneliness might have been better. I painted this from imagination inspired by the abandoned snowmen and snowballs in Bushy Park on my way home. Thanks to Sue Middlesex for getting me thinking about how to use watercolours better.
I wanted to simplify the garden into simple shapes and colours, but I’ve still managed to complicate the picture. It was interesting trying, though.
This was a bit of an exercise, my first attempt at water reflections etc.
